China-Europe freight trains refer to container international railway trains running between China and Europe and countries along the Belt and Road, operating according to fixed schedules, routes, and entire operational times. To strengthen commercial trade links with European countries, the Chinese government and China State Railway Group collaborate with the railway systems of Central Asia and European countries. The service, initially starting from Chongqing to Duisburg, Germany, has now expanded to connect 82 cities in China and over 160 cities in Eurasian countries, forming five major border crossing points: Alashankou, Horgos, Erlianhot, Manzhouli, and Suifenhe, and five major assembly centers: Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, and Urumqi, operating international railway trains reaching destinations as far as London and Hamburg
